Abstract
Beton je građevinski materijal koji uz čvrstoću i trajnost nudi široki raspon upotrebe i mogućnosti u pogledu strukturne vrste i oblika, građevinske tehnike, te površinske estetike. Intenzivna potraga za naftom i plinom, pojava katastrofalnih poplava u obalnim područjima, potreba za širenje obalnih gradova, te mnogi zahtjevi za prometnim povezivanjem obalnih površina mostovima i potopljenim tunelima doveli su do razvoja i inovacija novih tehnologija pri izvedbi plutajućih konstrukcija. Takve plutajuće betonske konstrukcije su izložene najtežim uvjetima, gdje su vijek trajanja i stabilnost konstrukcije od iznimne važnosti. Uz prikaz povijesti razvoja i mnogih inovativnih rješenja korištenja betonskih plutajućih konstrukcija, cilj ovog diplomskog rada je prikazati agresivni utjecaj morskog okoliša, te njegovo djelovanje na konstrukciju koje utječe na strukturnu stabilnost i trajnost konstrukcije. Također, cilj ovog rada je prikazati kako je uz određene dodatke i načine izvedbe moguće zaštititi konstrukciju od takvih utjecaja i na taj način produljiti vijek trajanja.
Abstract (english)
Concrete is a construction material that, including its strength and durability, offers a wide range of usage and possibilities in structural type and form, construction techniques and surface aesthetics. The intensified search for oil and gas, the appearance of catastrophic flooding of coastal regions, need for expansion of coastal cities, and many demands for transport connections of coastal areas by bridges and submerged tunnels have led to the development and innovations of new technologies in the making of floating constructions. Floating concrete structures as such are subjected to the harshest conditions, where service life and structural stability are of crucial importance. Including the presentation of the development throughout history and many innovative solutions in using of concrete floating structures, the aim of this study is to show the aggressive impact of the marine environment and its effect on the structure which affects the structural stability and durability. Also, the aim of this study is to show how certain additives and types of production can protect the structure of such influence and thus extend the service life.
