Abstract
Grad Supetar, kao svojevrsno središte otoka Brača, nema prikladan vatrogasni dom. Općina Supetar svojim DVD-om obuhvaća još tri općine: Postira, Nerežišća i Sutivan. Novi vatrogasni dom omogućava prikladniji prostor za vatrogasce sa sadržajima i prostorima koji su nužni za obavljanje djelatnosti. Vatrogasni dom u manjim zajednicama predstavlja i centar koji rado koriste "lokalci" u edukativne, rekreativne ili neke druge svrhe te često postaje centar socijalizacije i razmjene iskustava. Stoga predloženo arhitektonsko rješenje unosi i sadržaj za lokalno stanovništvo.
