Abstract
Beton visoke čvrstoće je složen materijal koji se sastoji od agregata, vode i cementa koji je ujedno i poboljšan nekim drugim mineralnim dodacima kao što su silikatna prašina, zgura, leteći pepeo i raznim aditivima kao što su plastifikatori, stabilizatori, modifikatori viskoznosti i najznačajniji aditiv za smanjenje potrebne količine vode – superplastifikator. Beton visoke čvrstoće karakterizira jednostavnost ugradnje, zbijanje bez segregacije, rano postizanje čvrstoće, slabija propusnost, dugotrajna mehanička svojstva, kao i otpornost na različite vanjske utjecaje.

High Strength Concrete is a complex material consisting of aggregates, water and cement, which is also enhanced by some other mineral additives such as silica fume, slag, fly ash and various additives such an conventional water reducing, hydration stabilizing, viscosity modifiers and the most important additive for reducing water demand – high range water reducing. High strength concrete is characterized by ease of placement, compaction without segregation, early age strength, permeability, long-term mechanical properties and long life in severe environments.
