Abstract (croatian)
S obzirom na ubrzan rast stanovništva u svijetu, broj otpadnih automobilskih guma je postao ozbiljan ekološki problem. Razgradnja otpadnih guma traje duže od pola stoljeća, a njihov broj je iz godine u godinu sve veći. Otpadne automobilske gume predstavljaju resurs za ponovni ulazak na tržište kao posve novi materijal. Posebno zanimljivo područje primjene reciklirane otpadne gume je unazad nekoliko desetljeća područje građevinskih materijala gdje se reciklirana otpadna automobilska guma koristi u sve većoj mjeri. Trenutno se samo 5% otpadne reciklirane automobilske gume koristi u građevinarstvu za potrebe gradnje novih ili rekonstrukcije postojećih građevina. U ovom je radu prikazana moguća primjena reciklirane otpadne automobilske gume u relativno novom proizvodu, samozbijajućem betonu (SCC) te mogući potencijal primjene praha otpadnih guma kao punila u samozbijajućem betonu (SCC).
Abstract (english)
Due to the exponential increase of the world population, a number of discarded waste vehicle tires has become serious ecological problem. Decomposition of the waste tire rubber can take longer than half of the century, and number of it is increasing each year. Waste tire rubber represents potential for re-entering the market through the new materials. Over the past two decades, area of construction and building material has become particularly interesting area of application of recycled waste tires. Currently, only 5% of recycled waste tire rubber were used in civil engineering for the construction of a new or reconstruction of an existing buildings. This paper presents possible application of recycled waste tire rubber in relatively new product, self-compacting concrete (SCC) and potential use of waste tire powder as a filler in self-compacting concrete (SCC).
