Abstract
U vremenu konzumerizma investiranje u novi shopping centar je naizgled potrebnije nego plansko ulaganje i razvijanje kvalitetnog urbanog prostora Mejaša. Periferija nastala neartikuliranim širenjem grada te znatnim preljevom ruralnog stanovništva iz okolnih područja zahtjeva stvaranje novog centra radi integracije stanovništva i povećanja same kvalitete života. Uzimajući u obzir postojeću strukturu i nedostatak javnih sadržaja, pješačkih zona, uređenih javnih zelenih površina pojam novog centra... More se nameće sam od sebe, ne nužno u obliku izgrađenih formata postojećih već svojevrsne strukture dovoljno fleksibilne da u sebi primi prijeko potrebne sadržaje. Društveno – kulturni volumen s čitaonicom, bibliotekom, auditorijem, galerijskim prostorom uz popratni program tržnice i dječjeg vrtića omogućuje korištenje centra u svako doba dana za ljude svih uzrasta.
