Abstract
Projekt se bavi rješenjem smještaja za starije osobe. Lokacija se nalazi na Žnjanu, predio Duilovo, gdje im se pružaju mir, tišina i blizina moru i šetnicama. Objekt prati pad terena i prilagođava mu se, a gotovo cijeli objekt je prirodno osvijetljen zahvaljujući južnoj orijentaciji. Korisnicima se unutar objekta pružaju razni sadržaji, a smještajne jedinice su prilagođene osobama s više i manje potreba. Tako su jedinice za osobe koje imaju veću razinu autonomnosti smještene na etaži -1, gdje imaju pristup vanjskom terenu, dok su osobe koje zahtjevaju veću razinu brige smještene u prizemlju, gdje su povezani sa svim potrebnim sadržajima. Boravak vani je uzet kao bitan faktor pri projektiranju pa je time cilj da svaka osoba ima što lakši pristup vanjskim terenima.
