Abstract
Knjižnica se nalazi uz zgradu gradske vijećnice, nekadašnje komunističke partije, najviše građevine u gradu Varni u Bugarskoj. Predviđeno je 18000 m2 različitih sadržaja. Međutim, s razmjerno velikom površinom i velikim pripadajućim visinama, veličinom ne može konkurirati susjednom prostornom reperu. Iz toga slijedi vanjska neutralnost knjižnice, svih jednakih fasada. No, zato dominira jedinstvenošću sadržaja. Za razliku od pješačkog pristupa zgradi ex-KP-a koja je izdignuta "plaza", knjižnica... More pješake uvlači direktno s pločnika, kroz povoljno postavljene ulaze u prostrani centralni prostor. Tamo prizemlje postaje stubište: auditorij, čitaonica te gledalište uličnog života i pozornica.
