Abstract
Mort je osnovni materijal u građevinarstvu koji se dobiva nakon očvrsnuća kašaste smjese koja se sastoji od vapna ili cementa, vode i agregata. Najčešće služi za žbukanje, za zidanje, za injektiranje, za podne premaze i košuljice za podove, za izradu raznih vrsta betona. Osim prema namjeni dijele se prema obradivosti, sastavu i mjestu proizvodnje. Za pripremu morta potrebno je odabrati dobro vezivo i agregat, a prije upotrebe potrebno je ispitati ispunjava li određene uvjete. Neki od tih uvjeta su mehanička čvrstoća morta, vodonepropusnost, postojanost, plastičnost morta, otpornost prema djelovanju mraza.
Abstract (english)
Mortar is a basic material in construcion that is obtained after curing a slurry consisting of lime or cement, water and aggregates. It is most often used for plastering, masonry, grouting, floor coatings and screeds for floors, for making various types of concrete. Apart from the purpose they are divided according to workability, composition, place of production. To prepare the mortar it is necessary to choose a good binder and aggregate and before using a mortar, it is necessary to examine whether it meets certain conditions. Some of these conditions are mechanical strenght of mortar, waterproofing, durability, plasticity of mortar, resistance to frost.
