Abstract
Između kvarta i kuće je pojam koji ima dva ključna značenja. Prvo značenje pojma jest kvart sa kojim se pojedinac može poistovjetiti na način da javne dijelove kvarta može koristiti kao i dijelove vlastite kuće. Pri tome se misli na to da su osim boravka u vlastitom stanu, dostupne i opcije kvalitetnog boravka na otvorenome. Stvara se osjećaj lokalnosti i kvart se može poistovjetiti sa domom. Drugo značenje pojma opisuje kuću čiji su neki vanjski prostori ujedno istoznačni vanjskim prostorima kvarta. Granica između npr. privatnog vrta i javno dostupnog parka je tanka i gotovo poništena. Također, neki privatni prostori kuća (npr poslovni prostori u parteru) se isprepliću sa javnim prostorima trga.
