Abstract
Zbog nove vrste medicinskog otpada koji je postao problem, od kako se pojavio virus Covid-19, ljudi masovno odlažu medicinske maske, rukavice, odjela u prirodi i time zagađuju okoliš. . Kako bi se ublažio taj problem došlo je do ideje da se maske koriste kao dodatak betonu kako bi se poboljšala njegova svojstva. Prednji dio maske betonu je dodan u količini 0,5%volumena betona betona, a gumice u količini 0,25% volumena betona. Ispitivanja su se vršila na svježem i očvrsnulom betonu. Na sviežem betonu se ispitivala obradivost-konzistencija, temperatura, sadržaj zraka, dok se na očvrsnulom betonu ispitivalo kapilarno upijanje vode. Dobiveni rezultati uspoređeni su s prijašnjim ispitivanjima.
Abstract (english)
Due to the new type of medical waste that has become a problem since the emergence of the Covid-19 virus, people have been massively disposing of medical masks, gloves, and gowns in nature, thus polluting the environment. In order to mitigate this problem, the idea of using masks as an addition to concrete to improve its properties came about. The front part of the mask was added to the concrete in the amount of 0.5% of the volume of the concrete, and the rubber bands in the amount of 0.25% of the volume of the concrete. Tests were performed on fresh and hardened concrete. Workability-consistency, temperature, air content were tested on fresh concrete, while saturated water absorption and sorptivity were tested on hardened concrete. The obtained results were compared with previous tests.
