Abstract
U uvali Zavala na južnoj strani otoka Hvara u mjestu Zavala postoji nedovršena mjesna lučica za manje brodice. Južna obala otoka Hvara izložena je jakim valovima iz smjerova SE i SW. Kako bi se povećao broj vezova brodica i postigla veća sigurnost, potrebno je postojeći lukobran na istočnoj strani produžiti i pojačati dogradnjom školjere. Kako je lučica nezaštićena od valova iz SW smjera, potrebno je izgraditi novi lukobran koji propušta morske struje, a otporan je na djelovanje valova koje uzrokuje lebić.
Abstract (english)
At the cove Zavala on the southern side of the Island of Hvar there is unfinished local marina for smaller vessels. Southern side of the island is exposed to strong waves coming from directions SE and SW. To increase the number of vessel berths and to maximize the safety, it is necessary to extend and strengthen the existing breakwater with upgrading of riprap. As the marina is unprotected from the waves coming from the SW direction, it is necessary to build the new permeable breakwater that doesn’t affect sea currents and is resistant to the activity of waves caused by SW wind.
